Skulpturfabriken is located on the Swedish island of Gotland. We specialize in the design and fabrication of concrete products for both interior and exterior environments. Our work appeals to clients in both the public and private sector from large industrial projects to small private pieces and everything in between. All of our products are made of concrete, sometimes in combination with other natural material, to create benches, planters, counter tops, tabletops, and other applications. The work we do is inspired by the strength, the vastness and the dignity of ancient structures as well as the vision of modern architecture. Skulpturfabriken looks not only at the past, but to the future with its creations.
The refinement of the original material into a unique malleable product inspires new shapes with original and innovative designs.
The collection is designed by Stina Lindholm.
Concrete is the most widely used construction material on the planet and is the material Stina mainly uses in her designs. The rock from Gotland consists of 100% limestone which is the key material in the production of cement. The limestone is extracted and crushed in the quarry on northern Gotland and then transported to the cement plant in Slite. Since 1995, when Skulpturfabriken was founded, the company has developed unique concrete products, suited for all kinds of environments.
